NYC Smooth Skin Loose Face Powder

I absolutely love this product! If you are looking for an affordable allover face powder then this is perfect for you! I recently ran out of my Bare Minerals mineral veil and I wanted a cheaper alternative and I found this NYC smooth skin loose powder. It was seriously one of the cheapest face products that I have ever bought.  The container is huge so you are getting a lot of product. I got it in the color translucent because I heard many people on YouTube raving about this product (Everyone recommended trying translucent.) The thing that I love about translucent powders is that anyone can buy it no matter your skin tone. You do not have to worry about choosing the correct color! For darker skin tones I recommend that you apply the product in small increments and blend well, applying too much at a time can cause your skin to look chalky and pasty. 

  

This packaging  is very typical for a loose powder. The powder is in a cylindrical container with two lids. The first lid is attached to the top of the container. (It is basically a sifter that prevents you from pouring out too much product at a time.) The second lid is your typical lid. Using a loose powder is very simple. You just pour the amount of product you need into the second lid, then using a brush pick up the product by swirling the brush in the lid, tapping off the excess the last step is to apply the product to your face. I prefer to use a large fluffy face brush but you can also use a powder puff. This product comes with a powder puff but I would not recommend using it.

This powder has a very smooth consistency, and blends well. This product is very good for oily skin. I have combination skin, so in the winter I have dry skin and in the summer I have oily skin. I like to apply this all over my face but I consecrate on my T-Zone. After using this product I have had no problems with my oily skin. It looks like I am not wearing any make up at all! I would give this a 4.5 out of 5, and I will defiantly be repurchasing this product. In fact I plan on buying the pressed powder soon!
